John Brebeuf C.W.L meets on the third Sunday of the month, from September through June in the St. Marie Room (Dates subject to change).

Knights of
Columbus #1107 (St. John Brebeuf) meets at 7:30 pm, the
2nd Wednesday of each month from September to June in the Downstairs
Meeting Room. All Catholic men 16 years and older are invited
to attend. New members welcome.

Bereavement Support Group: meets on an as-needed basis. Please contact the Parish Office for further information.
St.
John Brebeuf Peace Rosary Group
meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm, September through May in the
Blessed Sacrament Chapel. The group provides participants with an
opportunity to come together before the Blessed Sacrament to pray for
the spiritual needs of the parish, the world, and special
intercessions. Following the Liturgical Year, the group
progresses through the Rosary of the Holy Spirit, Joyful Mysteries,
Mysteries of Light, Sorrowful Mysteries and Glorious Mysteries.

SJB Lectio Divina Group
meets Monday afternoons, 1:30 pm, September through May in the St.
Marie Room.
Schedule subject to change. The group provides parishioners with an
opportunity to experience prayer that transforms the heart.
Through a slow, holy reading of Sunday's Gospel, followed by
silent reflection and faith sharing in a group setting, participants
experience the Word of God in a deeper, more transformative way.
Those interested in attending
should confirm meeting with Parish Office prior to attending for the
first time. This year's session wil resume Sept. 12.

Pilgrimages sponsored by Micah House: You
are invited to participate in one or more of seven pilgrimages
sponsored by Micah House taking place between Sept. and March.
Pilgrimage is a relgiously motivated journey to a specific
location which is seen as "holy ground". It may be a place where
a saint performed something religiously significant. However
there are many places that are sacred in our city. It is up to us
to uncover God's presence in unexpected locations. The
pilgrimages will journey from Micah House, 1039 Main St. to North Point
Douglas Women's Centre, Siloam Mission, L'Arche Winnipeg, Artbeat
Studio, House of Hesed, Main Street Project and Rossbrook House.

All Sobeys stores with a pharmacy will offer pregnant women
pre-natal vitamins on a monthly basis for a penny. Women who wish
to participate in this offer need to provide the Sobeys Pharmacy with
their Manitoba Health Number.
