School Programs and Services
In addition to the Manitoba curriculum taught from Kindergarten to Grade
8, our students are taught a religious education program. Students, teachers and parents celebrate monthly Masses with the School in our church.
We offer a computer program taught by a computer specialist. We
have a full time resource teacher and library technician and part time music and French specialists. We are pleased to offer the Accelerated
Integrated Method (AIM) a revolutionary new approach to second language that uses stories and music for the teaching of French. Our Orff
music program for students in Grades 1 to 8 fosters a lifelong appreciation for music while enhancing musical skills through speaking,
singing, playing and improvising on instruments, as well as movement.
St. John Brebeuf School offers Before and After School Care ("BASC") in our school from 7:30 - 8:30 in
the morning and from 3:20 - 5:30 after school. Please click here

If you need to call After School Care after 4:00 pm regarding
pick-up of your child(ren), please call the school at 489-2115 and use either extension 239(Library) or 240 (Hallway Phone)
as the School Offices closes at 4:00 pm. Please continue to call until one of the staff from the program answers the phone. Do not
leave a message at either of these numbers or the main office as these messages will not be retrieved until the next school day.

To keep our program fun and interesting, we occasionally take the children
to the Gym or outside to the playground. If you do not find your child(ren) in the Library, please check these other locations.

In the event of an emergency we may be required to relocate our students.
